Get a New Effect for the Dock

(No Ratings Yet) Loading ...When OS X was introduced, and the dock was unveiled, Steve Jobs awed Apple Fans by showing off the suck effect when minimizing windows. Well, the suck effect is great, and so is the scale effect, but did you know that there are more than just those two? Well, sit back, launch terminal and get ready to type the always confusing code because it’s time for another Apple hack. (Click the images for a bigger view.)
First things first - launch Terminal.
Secondly, type this command:
defaults write com.apple.dock mineffect -string suck
Lastly, logout and then login and you will now notice the amazing new effect.
Now to stop using the “suck” effect, simply go to the Apple Menu>Dock>Dock Preferences>And change the effect that you minimize with.
