Anyone that owns an iPhone has made several sacrifices to own Apples outstanding multi-touch device. One of these sacrifices is basic video recording. Almost every other phone on the market has this basic functionality, and in many cases some of these phones are free. Fortunately, there are several different developers working to bring basic video recording functionality to the Jesus phone.
Showtime: Polar Bear Farm advertises Showtime as donation-ware however, in order to record more than 5 seconds you must pay $20. In other words its a short demo. I’m also not a huge fan of having to pay for beta software, and honestly its barely beta. Its lacking audio recording, and records at a very low frame rate. In my experience, after I purchased Showtime, the app would freeze when recording for more than 10 seconds.
When transferring videos to your Mac you must use their color converter otherwise you will appear as if you belong to the Blue Man Group. The converter is currently only for Mac, so if you use Windows, your video’s colors will be out of whack.(http://polarbearfarm.com)
